I recently returned from a dreamy getaway to Lake Como, and I can't wait to share some details with you!
When you think of Lake Como, what comes to mind?
For me, it's always been a place of stunning landscapes, serene waters, and charming villages. I’ve traveled to this destination so many times, but I recently had the incredible opportunity to explore two gems: the Grand Hotel Tremezzo and Passalacqua, both owned by the De Santis family.

CONGRATS to Passalacqua, which has just been named the #2 BEST hotel in the world, and it's easy to see why from spending time there!
But first, Grand Hotel Tremezzo
Grand Hotel Tremezzo is the “Plaza Hotel” of Lake Como, there’s a vibe, a buzz, it’s fun - with multiple restaurants, a beach club, and everything you could ever want in a hotel.
While you could easily spend your entire stay indulging in the amenities, you’re also perfectly situated to explore the charming towns along the lake.
Fun fact: this is one of George Clooney’s favorite spots when he’s in town! Every corner of this hotel showcases unforgettable details, with rooms that are meticulously designed and cared for. It's a delightful blend of excitement and tranquility, providing both lively spaces and serene retreats.

Next... Passalacqua
On the other hand, Passalacqua offers an entirely different experience.
A smaller, more intimate hotel - in fact, calling it a hotel feels wrong. It feels more like a home than a hotel. It exudes an exclusive and private atmosphere—somewhere you to go retreat and rest. The decor of this hotel is exquisite, I basically had to be dragged out of there.
There's a story here. It's beautiful.
